Can an AI app help me sleep better?

It can help you wind down. Putting a busy day into words and then doing a slow body scan can make it easier to let go. If sleep problems last for weeks, talk to your doctor.

It can help you wind down. Many people lie awake with the day still running in their heads. Putting it into words, then doing a slow body scan, can make it easier to let go.

Saati's guided body scan comes in short and longer versions. Keep the screen dim and the conversation short at night.

If sleep problems last for weeks, talk to your doctor. Poor sleep can be a sign of something worth looking at.

What the research says

The American College of Physicians recommends cognitive behavioural therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) as the first treatment for all adults with chronic insomnia.1

A meta-analysis of 18 trials found moderate evidence that mindfulness meditation improved sleep quality versus comparison activities, though it was no better than established sleep treatments.2

In 2020, 77% of Canadian adults aged 18 to 64 met sleep duration recommendations, and 61% reported high sleep quality.3
